One of my favorite parts of releasing a new product is hearing from the people actually using it. The first batch of TuneDock vinyl stands went out into the world a little while ago, and the feedback from early adopters has been amazing. It gave me the chance to step back, make a few tweaks, and really refine the design.
Here’s what changed:
-
Slimmer Profile
I reduced the depth of the stand so your records sit at a cleaner angle when on a tabletop. It just looks better and feels more balanced. -
Angled Ledge
The ledge is now shaped to match the angle of your record sleeve. It gives the vinyl a snug fit and a smoother overall look. -
Tiny Grooves with a Big Impact
I added small grooves to the ledge that keep your vinyl steady. They also give you a little flexibility to fine-tune the angle. Plus, it makes swapping out SpinTags a lot easier. -
Softer Corners
The upper corner now has a rounded radius. It’s easier on the eyes and safer for your record sleeves. -
Branded Back
Flip the stand around and you’ll see “TuneDock” and “FutureFoxUSA” embossed along with my logo. A subtle touch, but one that makes it feel like a finished piece. -
New Kickstand Style
Instead of a solid back, the kickstand is now just the outer ring. It looks cleaner while still being rock solid.
Why I’m Excited
Each of these updates might seem small on their own, but together they make a huge difference. The stand feels more polished, more functional, and honestly just more fun to use.
I can’t thank the early adopters enough for sharing their thoughts. Your feedback directly shaped this version, and I think you’ll notice the difference the first time you drop a record into it.
Thanks for being part of the journey. I’m really proud of how far the TuneDock has come, and I can’t wait to see it showing off your favorite vinyls.
